Mount, who has not yet agreed on a contract extension, is entering the final 12 months of his current deal. Chelsea may consider offers for him this summer to avoid losing him on a free transfer.
However, Pochettino admires Mount's ability on the ball and work-ethic and believes that he would suit the style he wants to implement. The midfielder's contractual situation remains unresolved, but co-controlling owner Todd Boehly recently met with Mount's representatives.
