SPOILER ALERT: This article contains spoilers for the Season 1 finale of "Gen V," titled "Guardians of Godolkin," now streaming on Amazon's Prime Video. Chance Perdomo, a member of the "Gen V" cast, shares his experiences on set and his surprising connection to "The Boys" franchise. He initially auditioned for the role of Hughie years ago, but even if he didn't get the role, he still wanted to watch the show. He became a fan of "The Boys" and was excited to join the "Gen V" spinoff as Andre, a superhero college student. In the Season 1 finale of "Gen V," Perdomo believes that the trapped Godolkin U students are in a facility similar to the one in Vought Tower from "The Boys." He hopes for an exciting escape scene and suggests that they may need help from Billy Butcher. Perdomo also praises Karl Urban's mid-credits scene cameo in the "Gen V" finale and Jensen Ackles' cameo as Soldier Boy in Episode 6. He describes the experience of watching Ackles improvise outrageous lines as absolutely hilarious. Looking ahead to Season 2 of "Gen V," Perdomo hopes to explore the shattered romantic relationship between Andre and Cate. Andre is struggling with his identity and questioning the authenticity of his love for Cate, who has embraced the Vought dark side and may have used her powers on him. There are many unanswered questions about their relationship, and Perdomo believes that exploring these uncertainties will lead to great character development in the upcoming season.
