Jordan Petaia, the utility back for the Wallabies and Reds, is optimistic about the upcoming Super Rugby Pacific campaign with the appointment of Les Kiss as the new head coach for the Brisbane-based team. Kiss, who previously coached London Irish, has signed a deal to stay with the Reds until 2026.

Petaia and his teammates trained under Kiss during a three-week period leading up to Christmas and are now in pre-season training for the 2024 Super Rugby Pacific campaign. Petaia expressed his excitement about playing under Kiss and has faith in the coach's vision for the team. He praised Kiss's attacking focus and described him as "cool, calm, and collected.

Petaia's versatility has been a strength for both the Reds and the Wallabies, as he has played on the wing, at full-back, and as an outside centre over the past year.
