Surprisingly, no English coach has ever won the Premier League and you have to go back to 1992 to the last time a coach from England won the top-flight, in Howard Wilkinson. He retired after 2012/13 and left on top by winning the Premier League. Since his departure, Man United have not won another title.
As Liverpool boss, 'King' Kenny won three league titles when it was known as the First Division. In 1991, he took charge of Blackburn Rovers and guided them to the First Division in his first season as manager. Owner Jack Walker heavily invested in the club and by 1995, under Dalglish and a team that consisted of Alan Shearer and Chris Sutton, Blackburn won the Premier League.
