West Ham United clinched a 2-1 victory over AZ Alkmaar in the first leg of Europa Conference League semi-finals at London Stadium. Tijani Reijnders put Alkmaar ahead with a stunning long-range drive before Said Benrahma scored an equaliser from the penalty spot. Michail Antonio then secured the win for West Ham by tapping in a goal from close range.
The Dutch side, who held Ajax to a draw recently, are still a strong contender for the finals. West Ham takes a lead to the second-leg match next week in Prague, where they will try to secure their first trophy since 1980.
