Michail Antonio then secured the win for West Ham by tapping in a goal from close range.
The Dutch side, who held Ajax to a draw recently, are still a strong contender for the finals. West Ham takes a lead to the second-leg match next week in Prague, where they will try to secure their first trophy since 1980.
