Dwight Yorke insists Haaland would NOT get in Man United's treble side!
11/05/2023

Manchester United legend Dwight Yorke has claimed that Erling Haaland wouldn't be a starter in his team's treble-winning side from the 1998-99 season, despite the Norwegian sensation breaking the record for most goals scored in a single Premier League season and helping Manchester City compete for a treble this season.

Yorke said that he and Andy Cole had formed one of the most successful partnerships in Premier League history that year and it wouldn't be worth disrupting their link-up play to accommodate Haaland. He questioned whether United had made progress under manager Erik ten Hag, who has lost more Premier League games than Ole Gunnar Solskjaer did during his two full seasons managing the club.
