During a preseason game, New York Jets player Garrett Wilson trolled Denver Broncos head coach Sean Payton by wearing a Jets bucket hat and sunglasses during his in-game interview. Payton had recently implemented rules banning such accessories and sideline interviews during games. The Jets seemingly took offense to Payton's comments about their offensive coordinator and former Broncos coach Nathaniel Hackett. The only rule Wilson didn't break was not wearing a jersey post-game as Payton had instructed.
