Bayern Munich secured Champions League qualification with a 2-1 win over Werder Bremen. Serge Gnabry opened the scoring for Bayern, finishing from close range after Jamal Musiala's pass. Leroy Sane added a second, calmly slotting into the far corner after being set up by Noussair Mazraoui.
Niklas Schmidt scored a late consolation for Werder. Despite two big chances in the first half, Werder were unable to find the back of the net. The win puts Bayern seven points clear at the top of the Bundesliga, and Borussia Dortmund will try to narrow the gap when they face Wolfsburg on Sunday.
