In honor of Disney's 100th birthday, the beloved character Genie from "Aladdin" is making a comeback. Although the original voice actor Robin Williams passed away in 2014, his family gave permission for his recordings to be used in a short film called "Once Upon a Studio" to celebrate Disney's anniversary. The film features Mickey and Minnie Mouse, Tinker Bell, Peter Pan, and other characters from Disney's past gathering for a group photo. The use of Robin Williams' Genie character is seen as a fitting tribute to both Disney's heritage and Williams' contribution to animation.
