Johnny Depp has faced a lot of scandals in the last few years. There was his bankruptcy in 2016, his infamous defamation trial with ex-wife Amber Heard, and his recent $10 million loan for the renovation of his castle.
The Pirates of the Caribbean star is also known for his high-profile relationships like his previous engagement to Winona Ryder, his torrid romance with Kate Moss, and his 14-year commitment to Vanessa Paradis — mother of Jack and Lily-Rose Depp.
In 2001, Howard Stern asked Depp if he had ever cheated on his partners.
The host also brought up the actor-turned-painter's famous quote: "If you love two people at the same time, choose the second. Because if you really loved the first one, you wouldn't have fallen for the second."
Over a decade later, Stern called Depp a "narcissist" amid his legal dispute with Heard. The radio host alleged the Willy Wonka star of "overacting" on the stand and wanting the trial to be televised because narcissists "think they can talk their way out of everything.
"On the narcissism scale, I think Johnny Depp is a huge narcissist," said Stern, "and what I mean by that is, he figured 'I'll put this on TV. And because I'm so persuasive and I'm so smart, and I'm such a wonderful guy.'" He added that having cameras in the courtroom didn't work in Depp's favor.
"But that's what narcissists do: 'I will charm the pants off of America at the trial,'" he continued. "No you won't.
