Israeli actress Gal Gadot did not attend her own screening of a film documenting the Hamas attack on her home country. The film, called "Bearing Witness," was described as "extremely graphic and violent." Gadot reportedly helped organize a special screening of the film in Hollywood, but did not attend.

The movie depicted the Hamas attacks on Israel in October 7, which resulted in the deaths of 1,400 people and led to military operations in the Gaza Strip.

The death toll in the Palestinian territory has surpassed 10,500, including over 4,300 children. Gadot's absence from the screening was not explained. However, it was reported that she did not attend out of concern for her own safety.

The screenings were provided by the IDF (Israel Defense Forces) and organized and sponsored by venture capitalist Sara Greenberg and communications person Melissa Zukerman, with support from the ADL and AJC.

Gadot's husband, Yaron Varsano, and the director of "Bearing Witness," Guy Nattiv, were present at the screening.

A brawl broke out between two opposing groups outside the screening, with punches thrown and pepper spray used. Gadot has been a vocal supporter of Israel and regularly posts about the situation on her Instagram account, which has over 100 million followers.
