Adele unveils plans for 'one-off, bespoke, pop-up stadium' in Munich
Event organizers in Munich, Germany, are willing to construct a new stadium in order to bring Adele back to performing in mainland Europe. The proposed design is a gigantic clamshell-shaped open-air amphitheater with a capacity of 80,000 people. Adele announced the news on social media, expressing her excitement to perform in Munich, which she called "a bit random, but still fabulous." The four shows are scheduled for August 2, 3, 9, and 10. The announcement follows Adele's ongoing residency in Las Vegas, which will come to an end in June 2024.
It is expected that she will embark on another world tour following the release of her next album. Adele's last album, "30," was a commercial and critical success, winning British Album of the Year at the 2022 Brit Awards. Regarding her future album, Adele admitted that she doesn't think she will write one for quite some time. Adele's music was recently pulled from TikTok, along with other artists signed to Universal Music Group, due to a breakdown in talks over the social media site's licensing agreement.
