Everyone knows that Jim Parsons wound up narrating Young Sheldon, and though he admitted he is done with TV, he is probably keeping busy in other ways with the millions he has made.

Updated on April 25, 2023: In the last few years, Courtney Henggeler has devoted herself to her starring role as Amanda LaRusso in Cobra Kai. The sixth season will begin filming this spring and likely air before the end of the year. Along with this hit Netflix original, she has also been working on an upcoming project called The Boys in the Boat, which is currently in post-production.
But beyond the big names, what happened to the actors behind minor characters, like the actress who played Missy Cooper?
Much to fans' dismay, Missy Cooper, Sheldon's twin sis, was only shown in two episodes of Big Bang Theory. While Young Sheldon features Missy heavily (young Missy is played by Raegan Revord), fans sometimes feel like the show left a major plot hole open with Sheldon's sister's storyline. She dropped in, dropped out, and left fans wanting lots more Cooper sibling action.
As for Missy herself, IMDb credits Courtney Henggeler as Sheldon's sister for those two episodes; one in 2008 and another a full ten years later. She made appearances in the episodes "The Bow Tie Asymmetry" and "The Pork Chop Indeterminacy."
But what was Courtney doing for the decade in between, and what is she up to now?
IMDb has the answer once again: she has continued acting, of course, and even wrote and produced a recent film. Even before Big Bang Theory, Courtney had film and TV roles -- in shows like House, Criminal Minds, and NCIS.
And afterwards, her resume continued with more appearances on TV and in big-screen movies, plus a long run on the hit spin-off series Cobra Kai.
But in 2020, a film came out with Henggeler's name all over it: she wrote and helped produce The Secret Life of a Celebrity Surrogate, a thriller that earned some accolades despite its mostly lesser-known cast.
Henggeler is also a married mom of two. She wed Ross Kohn in 2015 and the pair share a son and daughter.
While she may no longer be Missy, fans can still appreciate Courtney's sense of humor and clear talent on any size screen she may appear. And with the way her career has gone so far, viewers can expect to see the talented actress in many more projects in the coming years.
