This geographical shift left many fans wondering if this was a graceful exit strategy for the beloved pair, especially given the demanding schedules of actors Simone Ashley and Jonathan Bailey.

However, Brownell put those fears to rest during a recent interview. "Sending them off to India was never about writing them out of the show," she explained. "If anything, it allows us to bring them back when the time is right, scheduling permitting.
