Jensen Ackles, the ruggedly handsome actor best known for his role as Dean Winchester in "Supernatural," has never shied away from a challenge. But even for a seasoned pro like him, stepping into the world of Amazon’s "The Boys" meant facing a whole new level of daring. And let's be clear, his "debut" was one for the record books.

As Soldier Boy, a superhero frozen in time for decades, Ackles' character bursts onto the scene, literally.

He emerges from a massive metal capsule, looking every bit the classic American hero – except for one tiny detail: He's completely naked, except for a strategic sock strategically placed for "modesty."

"In true 'Boys' fashion, they don't keep their superheroes contained with clothing on. Why would they do that?" Ackles chuckles, recounting his first day on set. "So, there I was, in front of my brand new cast and crew, with nothing between me and them but a sock.

"

That, in itself, would be a pretty wild intro for any actor, but Ackles' journey in "The Boys" was only just beginning.
