In an exciting turn of events, Prison Break stars Dominic Purcell and Wentworth Miller are reuniting for a new TV series titled Snatchback. The series, currently in development at Universal TV, promises to be a gripping hostage drama. According to Universal TV, the show is "inspired by the life of a real covert intelligence officer who is still active in the field today." It will follow a highly skilled team of operatives as they recover hostages from some of the world's most exotic and dangerous locations.
Snatchback boasts an impressive team behind the scenes. Scott Rosenbaum, known for his work on The Shield and Chuck, will serve as the writer and executive producer. Joining him as executive producers are Dominic Purcell himself, his wife Tish Cyrus-Purcell, and Dannah Axelrod Summers of HopeTown Entertainment. Cyrus-Purcell expressed her excitement, stating, "We are absolutely thrilled to be a part of this team with such talented individuals.
Purcell and Miller first captivated audiences as brothers Lincoln Burrows and Michael Scofield in the hit series Prison Break. The show, which aired from 2006 to 2009, followed Burrows as he faced a death sentence for a crime he didn't commit, and Scofield's ingenious plan to break him out of prison.
