"Perhaps the Smartest Person I Have Ever Met"
Picture this: Colin, quill in hand, bathed in the warm glow of candlelight, pouring his heart out onto the pages of his diary.
The words flow from him, filled with longing and admiration for a certain someone back home.
"And then there is my friend Penelope," he writes, each stroke a testament to his growing feelings. "Perhaps the smartest person I have ever met besides Eloise. The two of them together would have so much to say about this city."

Could this homesickness be amplified by a certain someone he longs to see? We can only imagine the conversations they'd share about his travels.
The entry continues, hinting at Colin's personal growth: "After my travels last year when I wrote so much anr received very few replies," he confesses, "I am trying out a new personality. A new way of seeing the world and interacting with others. I want to be less needy, less insecure, while still maintaining the core of my vulnerability that makes me who I am.
I am a Bridgerton man."
Oh, Colin.
This raw honesty, the vulnerability he displays, it's enough to make any fan swoon. It seems our boy is growing up, trying to become a man worthy of the love he so clearly craves.
